Clayton Equipment was pleased to rescue one of our locomotives following an accident which threatened to make the machine an economic write off. The locomotive was extensively damaged whilst stationary and a four month long programme was implemented to return it to England, refurbish and repair the equipment to its original standard, and despatch the finished product back to Russia.
Clayton Equipment recently successfully delivered and commissioned three locomotives for the Peruvian gold mining company Marsa. The client needed the equipment to be deployed on site in a very short period of time which necessitated an accelerated build programme to meet the required delivery.
The order was placed and delivered in a period of just 16 weeks and was comprised of three 3.5 tonne battery locomotives and associated equipment. These 80 volt, 14hp locomotives were commissioned at site by Clayton Equipment engineers and put straight to work.
