Clayton Equipment Service Test & Commissioning Technicians, Phil Civil and Andrew Martin are in China commissioning the first of the CBT55 zer0-emission battery trolley locomotives for the Shougang Group. The locomotives are to be used in an iron ore mining operation at the Macheng Mine.
Each of the CBT55 locomotives are equipped with a cloud-based system designed to allow remote monitoring of the performance anywhere in the world, whether mainline or below ground.
The system provides real-time performance data which further enhances production efficiency, maintenance, and safety. Also prevents unscheduled downtime, trouble shoots performance issues, investigate faults and install software updates. The process customises the operating parameters to suit the mine operators.
Clayton Equipment continues on a global scale to provide solutions in technology for both above and below ground haulage equipment.
