Robert was lucky enough to be given a guided tour of the huge Tata Steel plant in Port Talbot. There are 25 miles worth of internal railway lines within the site, and the fleet of locomotives play a vital role in many aspects of the process – from hauling liquid iron from the blast furnaces to the steelmaking plant to hauling finished products for onward movement on the national network.
